«L'inflorescence est la disposition des fleurs sur la tige d’une plante. 

Pour créer mes tableaux, j’utilise de la peinture, des papiers et des plantes recyclés pour explorer l’idée de l’inflorescence tout en explorant des thèmes comme: la botanique, le paysage et la nature. 

Je m’intéresse à l’art naïf, au collage et à la peinture comme sujet.» 

Originaire de Cap-Pelé, Angie Richard obtient son Baccalauréat en arts visuels de l’Université de Moncton en 2013 avec deux concentrations: en photographie et en peinture. Artiste multidisciplinaire, elle participe à des festivals comme le Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie (FICFA), le festival Inspire et le festival RE:FLUX. Elle est membre du conseil administratif de la Galerie Sans Nom situé au Centre culturel Aberdeen. En 2017, elle a participé à une résidence d’artistes avec d’autres artistes émergents pour monter le spectacle « Cabaret Factum » en ouverture du Festival Acadie Rock. En automne 2018, elle crée un court métrage dans le cadre de l’atelier de création Kinomada situé à Lafayette, Louisiane. Présentement, elle s’intéresse aux arts médiatiques et crée des installations multimédias et des projections visuelles pour des spectacles de musique avec le Collectif HAT.

“Inflorescence is the arrangement of flowers on the stem of a plant.

To create my paintings, I use recycled paint, paper and plants to explore the idea of ​​the inflorescence while exploring themes such as: botany, landscape and nature.

I am interested in naïve art, collage and painting as a subject.”

A native of Cap-Pelé, Angie Richard obtained her Bachelor's degree in visual arts from the Université de Moncton in 2013 with two concentrations: photography and painting. As a multidisciplinary artist, she participates in festivals such as the Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie (FICFA), the Inspire Festival and the RE: FLUX Festival. She is a member of the board of directors of Galerie Sans Nom located at the Aberdeen Cultural Centre. In 2017, she participated in a residency of artists with other emerging artists to stage the show "Cabaret Factum" at the opening of the Acadie Rock Festival. In the fall of 2018, she created a short film as part of the Kinomada Creative Workshop in Lafayette, Louisiana. Currently, she is interested in media arts and creates multimedia installations and visual projections for music performances with the HAT Collective.
